Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for the Dallas–Fort Worth market. You will manage municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects and support clients and technical teams across North Texas.

The role involves coordinating design, overseeing budgets and schedules, and mentoring engineers while maintaining strong client relationships with municipal and public-sector entities. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering.
• Texas PE license, or ability to obtain one.
• Municipal water or wastewater engineering experience.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects and technical teams.
• Knowledge of pipelines, pump stations, treatment, collection or distribution systems.
• Strong project-management and client-facing capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Dallas–Fort Worth market.

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate the design of pipelines, pump stations, collection and distribution systems, and treatment facilities.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineers, designers and technical staff.
• Maintain regular communication with municipal, utility and public-sector clients.
• Review engineering plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting, bidding and construction-phase services.
• Assist with proposals, presentations and business-development activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of the regional team.
