Job summary

HDR, a leading engineering firm, seeks an experienced Project Manager Engineering for our Hawaii operations. You will lead multi‑discipline design teams, coordinate with subconsultants, and oversee scope, schedule, and budget on complex projects.

A PE license and engineering degree are required, with at least seven years of related experience, including two in PM. HDR values leadership and an active employee‑owned culture that drives innovation and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience including a minimum of 2 years in project management.
• Professional Engineer license (PE/P.Eng).
• MS Office and MS Project experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership and active participation in our employee‑owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑discipline project design teams, including subconsultants, with emphasis on quality and productivity.
• Plan, direct, and monitor complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
• Prepare and review civil engineering scope of work and fee estimates for proposals.
• Collaborate with operations and other managers on workload, status, and staffing requirements.
• Serve as Technical Manager or QA/QC Reviewer on projects and pursuits.
