Job summary

GHD in Pittsburgh is offering a Summer Engineering Internship in the Water team. You will assist project engineers and managers in planning, design and construction for water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects for municipal and private clients.

The role provides exposure to fieldwork and CAD drawing development, with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office three days a week) to connect and excel in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Understanding of Engineering fundamentals.
• AutoCAD skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field investigations and inspections of construction
• Performing engineering studies and making comparative engineering and economic evaluations
• Collecting and compiling data
• Assisting with CADD drawings and developing facilities layouts
• Conducting cost estimates and design calculations
