Job summary

AECOM’s Water Business Line in Denver is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join multidisciplinary teams delivering water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. You will support power, controls, and instrumentation design from concept through construction to ensure reliable water infrastructure.

The role involves coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, performing short-circuit and arc-flash studies, and preparing design documents and cost

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design documents and specifications for power distribution, motor control, emergency power, and lighting systems.
• Perform short-circuit studies, coordination, and arc-flash studies under supervision using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, process, instrumentation and construction teams.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support electrical, instrumentation and controls deliverables.
