Job summary

Primera Engineers is seeking a CAD Technician to support Chicago's water CIP program. The first 90 days are on-site at Jardine Water Purification Plant, with remote work flexibility afterward.

You will draft and update drawings in CAD, primarily using MicroStation and AutoCAD, and coordinate with designers, engineers, and PMs on water main projects. This role focuses on accurate drawings, project file management, and adherence to company standards while contributing to a multi-billion dollar

Qualifications

• At least one year of CAD experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• High school diploma; technical education preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update drawings in CAD from engineering marksups.
• Support water main and water service line projects.
• Work daily in MicroStation within Primera.
• Coordinate CAD with project files, scanning, plotting, and lists.
• Prepare drawings for permits and ensure standards compliance.
