Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Water/Wastewater Cadd Technician to support project teams in producing precise plans from sketches using AutoCAD or MicroStation.

The role requires a High School diploma, up to 5 years of design experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work in a generally office-based environment with occasional field duties, contributing to compliant drawings and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-5 years of experience in drafting or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for plan production.
• Knowledge of design and drafting procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer engineering sketches and mark-ups to plans utilizing AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback.
• Prepare exhibits for reports, meetings, or presentations.
• Follow company standards and templates to ensure consistency.
