Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Instrumentation & I&C Intern for Summer 2027 in Columbus, OH. You will collaborate with our Resilience team, focusing on instrumentation, controls systems, and related network infrastructure for municipal water and wastewater facilities.

The role emphasizes designing control system solutions, developing P&IDs, SCADA architectures, and supporting construction through submittal review, site visits, and QA/QC. Travel to project sites (about 5–10%) and local candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical memorandums and develop design criteria.
• Craft SCADA architectures, network designs, P&IDs, and control narratives.
• Create specifications, schematics, and interconnection diagrams for I&C design.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers on projects.
• Review equipment and submittals during construction and respond to RFIs.
