Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is hiring a Residential Water Heater Installer to perform installations, replacements, and upgrades of water heaters in residential settings. The role emphasizes diagnosing, educating customers, and closing work in the field for maximum efficiency.

The position offers a performance-based pay structure with no ceiling, a company vehicle, uniforms, and tools provided, plus ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous residential plumbing experience with water heater installation.
• Knowledge of installing both traditional tank and tankless water heaters preferred.
• Understanding of plumbing codes and venting requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential water heaters, including tank and tankless systems.
• Remove and dispose of existing equipment while keeping a clean work area.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Test installed systems to verify operation and safety.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the process.
