Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a part-time Water Fitness Instructor to lead engaging aquatic classes and motivate participants toward healthier routines. You will prepare movements and choreography before each class and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Training and CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire) are expected, with ongoing in-service trainings.

Part-time staff receive complimentary YMCA memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fun, friendly and people-oriented.
• CPR certified (or certified within 30 days after hire).
• Training and certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate genuine interest in, and dedication to, improving the health and wellness of each participant.
• Prepare movements and choreography prior to class.

• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
