Job summary

ServiceMaster of Seattle is actively seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to perform restoration, mitigation, cleaning, demolition, and equipment-related work with minimal supervision.

The role requires hands-on experience in restoration, safety-focused practices, and strong customer service, with on-site work in Woodinville, WA. Applicants must meet driving and background checks and be ready for variable hours, including overtime and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous restoration, mitigation, construction, demolition, or related experience is required.
• IICRC certification or industry training is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
• Basic computer, smartphone, and app skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and other challenging environments.
• Ability to work around water, sewage, mold, smoke, odors, chemicals, dust, and construction debris.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, smoke and fire cleaning, odor control, and general restoration services.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment.
• Assist with mold remediation/abatement and sewage or black-water cleanup.
• Perform specialty cleaning and hoarding cleanup when required.
• Follow established safety procedures and properly use PPE and cleaning products.
• Communicate jobsite conditions and progress to supervisors.
