Job summary

ServiceMaster of Seattle in Woodinville, WA is seeking an Entry-Level Disaster Restoration Technician. You will learn cleaning, demolition, equipment setup, and restoration tasks after water, fire, smoke, wind, or mold damage, with on-the-job training.

This hands-on, physically demanding role is perfect for dependable individuals willing to learn and work well in a team. No prior restoration experience is required, and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior restoration experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
• Basic smartphone, computer, and app skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water extraction, drying, cleaning, smoke cleaning, odor control, and general restoration.
• Assist with mold remediation/abatement and sewage or black-water cleanup.
• Assist with hoarding and specialty cleaning projects.
• Learn and follow proper safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with removal of damaged drywall, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, and other materials.
• Perform debris removal and jobsite cleanup.
• Assist with packing, moving, cleaning, and organizing customer contents.
• Protect unaffected areas and customer belongings during restoration work.
• Load, unload, transport, and set up restoration equipment and materials.
• Learn to operate air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, air scrubbers, and other equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.
• Lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Treat customers' homes and belongings with care.
• Take photographs and document job progress using company apps.
