Job summary

SERVPRO Austin is seeking a Restoration Technician with experience in water damage restoration, demolition, or construction to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage, with training provided for the right candidate who shows strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

We are primarily looking for individuals with experience in water damage restoration, demolition, or construction. However, we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

In this hands-on position, you'll help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

What You'll Do

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and cleanup.


• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment.


• Assist with water, fire, and mold remediation projects.


• Load, unload, and maintain equipment and work vehicles.


• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.


• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in restoration, demolition, or construction preferred.


• IICRC certifications are a plus.


• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work.


• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight areas.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours and weekend emergency calls.


• Ability to pass a background check.
