Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore - Crofton is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our fire and water restoration team. We help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, smoke, and storm damage and provide hands-on, meaningful work with strong career prospects.

We support training, certifications, and a team-first culture, with both full-time and part-time opportunities and clear paths to leadership or project management roles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Restoration, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and storm damage emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services.
• Set up and monitor restoration equipment.
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Take moisture readings and document job progress.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.

Compensation:

• Entry-level technicians $17–20/hr
• Experienced technicians $21 – $25
