Rainbow Restoration of Sacramento is looking for a skilled and dependable Mitigation Technician to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. You will perform water, fire, and mold mitigation and remediation on residential and commercial properties, helping homeowners restore their properties and peace of mind.

You will operate extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters, document drying progress, communicate with owners, adjusters, and project managers, and respond to

Qualifications

• Experience in water damage mitigation or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification (WRT/ASD) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document job site conditions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation and remediation services on residential and commercial properties.
• Extract standing water and set up drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and desiccants.
• Conduct moisture readings and document drying progress using industry-standard tools and software.
• Safely remove damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation as part of the mitigation process.
• Communicate professionally with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process.
• Maintain, clean, and properly store all mitigation equipment and company vehicles.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend assignments as needed.
