ServiceMaster Clean in Baton Rouge is seeking a dependable Water & Fire Cleanup Restoration Technician to join our disaster restoration team. This hands-on role involves property damage cleanup, structural drying, and restoration projects in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires physical work, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer service. Training is available, and the role may involve varying shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction preferred (training offered).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services.
• Assist in fire, smoke, and odor cleanup and structural restoration.
• Conduct mold remediation following industry standards.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment.
• Document project details, including photos and moisture readings.
• Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
