Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with manual labor or using small hand tools.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• On-call work including weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to read maps and locate street addresses.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for connection or disconnection of water services.
• Obtain meter readings on assigned routes using manual or electronic methods.
• Document problems such as damaged meters or inaccessibility to meters.
• Investigate water leaks and assess causes, including chlorine testing where applicable.
