Job summary

Your impact

This role is for an Engineering Intern located in the Cincinnati, OH office. As a summer intern you will assist other water resource engineers with various project tasks that may include hydraulic modeling, GIS mapping, engineering planning and design, contract document production and construction phase engineering support.

You will be mentored by a group of professional engineers and technical experts in planning and designing infrastructure such as sanitary collection systems, storm sewer systems, water and wastewater pump stations, and treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Good communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
• Experience with a PDF editor such as Bluebeam and computer aided drafting programs such as Revit and Microstation
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
