Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Water Engineer Co-Op/Intern to join the Water Business Line in Indianapolis, IN for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, including site visits, data analysis, and design support. Collaboration with teams across the U.S.

and internationally is encouraged, with exposure to BIM, Power BI, SharePoint, and AR tools. The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or another closely related academic discipline.
• Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating, planning, designing, and supporting management of water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Support site visits, sampling, water quality analyses, and optimization of systems.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and client materials; participate in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis practices, quality, health and safety standards, and assist on-time/budget project delivery.
• Collaborate with teams across the US and internationally; learn and use digital tools (SharePoint, BIM, Power BI, AR).
