Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineer Intern for our Water Business Line in Dallas, TX, for Summer 2027. The role provides hands-on experience in water/wastewater treatment, conveyance, and sustainability projects, with fieldwork and client engagement.

You will assist in planning, design, and management of projects, supporting reports, site visits, and data analysis while using digital tools like SharePoint and BIM. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials; participate in client meetings.
• Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices, quality, health and safety standards; support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Work independently and in teams, coordinating with colleagues across the U.S. and internationally.
• Learn and use digital tools to enhance collaboration, including SharePoint and BIM.
