Job summary

HDR, Inc. invites engineers to join our Water Business Group in Gillette, Wyoming as Water EIT/Coordinator. You will help design water-focused systems under supervision, deliver reports, and ensure quality in collaboration with clients and team members.

Preferred candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree; EIT certification is valued, with progression toward leadership as you advance within HDR’s employee-owned culture and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems.
• Experience with BIM, numerical modeling, and production tools.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture required.

Responsibilities

• Create planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water systems under instruction from a Project Engineer or person in responsible charge
• Prepare deliverables for water or water resources focused systems, write specifications, analysis, modeling, and study-level reports, determine appropriate design methods, possible equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with our clients to deliver an outstanding experience
• Perform as part of a quality assurance team and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables
• Perform other duties as needed

In the role of Water EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression

Required Qualifications

• Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment
