Job summary

Under supervision, you may be promoted to a full Utility Worker once proficient, gaining experience with mains, valves, hydrants, meters, and equipment operation while supporting district

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical labor outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains water mains, valves, hydrants, and meters.
• Operates equipment like soil compactors, mowers, and other tools.
• Performs routine logging and record keeping.
• Assists with water distribution tasks and emergency shutdowns.
• Standby as emergency crew on rotating nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
