Job summary

Arizona Water Company is seeking an experienced Utility Worker III in Oracle, AZ. You will assist with water distribution system operations, maintenance, and reporting while ensuring safe, reliable service to customers.

Responsibilities include map updates, pump maintenance, and meter-related tasks. On-call duties and overtime may be required during emergencies and planned work, with field duties across divisions as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in pipefitting or general maintenance mechanic with some pipefitting.
• High school graduate with vocational training in pipefitting, electrical, or internal combustion engine crafts.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the handheld meter reading device and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water distribution systems, installing mains, services, hydrants, and fittings.
• Record system changes on maps and in records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and equipment; install or replace service lines and meters.
