Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints and provides field services to the municipal water distribution system.
• Installs water meters and backflow preventers and performs related maintenance.
• Operates equipment such as dump trucks and backhoes to support daily functions.
• Maintains records of repairs, maintenance and malfunctions for reporting.
• Performs field tests to ensure water quality standards are met.
• Assists with Blue Stakes location of utilities to prevent system damage during construction.
