The Water Service Technician works on the City side of the water meter, providing installation, maintenance, and removal. They also test backflow prevention devices.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

The environmental working conditions of this position include constantly working in wet surroundings and high temperatures, and very frequently working around loud noise, low temperatures, and working outside. Also, frequently works around hazardous machinery, low noise, cluttered floor areas and poor ventilation. Occasionally works at night, inside and around dust or fumes.
