Job summary
Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), parent company of Liberty Utilities-Missouri, seeks a Project Specialist, Water to coordinate planning, design, and construction of new and replacement water facilities, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
You will interface with customers, contractors, and regulators to maintain project integrity. Requirements include an associate degree in a related field, 3–5 years in water utility distribution, and 1–2 years in construction project management,
Qualifications
- Associate degree in business or related technical field; AutoCAD/Project Management preferred.
- 3-5 years of water utility distribution work experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience in construction project management with OSHA familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning, design, and construction of water distribution facilities.
- Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with plans and schedules.
- Create in-field as-built drawings and verify GIS information.
- Manage project costs and submit final inspection reports.
- Develop and review developer/service agreements for water systems.
