Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year pipefitter experience or training.
• CSUS (Red Book) certification within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain Florida CDL Class A license within 12 months.
• Must obtain WTPO Level 3 or higher within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Install pipes, fittings, meters, and valve boxes.
• Repair mains and service lines; repair valves and perform flush outs.
• Repair roads and sidewalks; maintain hydrants.
• Test chlorine residuals; conduct leak surveys.
• Read maps and locate lines; operate and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other departments to plan work and ensure safety.
