Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Underground Utilities or related field desirable.
• Possession or ability to possess an Ohio EPA Class I Distribution license within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain residency as required by the City.

Responsibilities

• The Equipment Operator works primarily in the Water Meter Department and performs water meter related duties.
• May be reassigned to assist Water Distribution based on staffing needs or emergency/operational requirements.
