City Of Wheeling is seeking a Utility Maintenance Supply Specialist to support the Water Department in warehousing, inventory control, and procurement. You will prepare purchase orders, receive and process invoices, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely availability of materials for water system operations.

Responsibilities include unloading/storing supplies, operating a forklift, and responding to customer inquiries to facilitate repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and two years of warehousing experience with automated inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate warehouse equipment and forklift.
• Basic data entry and record-keeping for inventory audits.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, submits, and tracks requisitions and purchase orders for materials.
• Receives supplies and processes invoices into the inventory system.
• Unloads and stores materials, operates forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Maintains inventory records and assists with audits and reports.
• Resolves customer and field personnel inquiries to support repairs.
