Job summary

The City of Sanford, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Distribution & Collections Coordinator to oversee water and wastewater line operations. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, or related field.
• Moderate experience in the maintenance, repair and/or construction of water and wastewater lines.
• Possession of a valid NC driver’s license upon hire; certification requirements must be met or obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the theory, processes, methods, techniques and practices used in repair, maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of water and wastewater lines.
• Prepare correspondence and detailed technical reports; use standard office equipment and software.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, engineers, state officials, contractors, vendors, elected officials and the general public.
