Job summary

Volarify is seeking a Basic Restoration Technician in Sterling, VA to support water damage mitigation and restoration projects. You will assist with water extraction, mold remediation, debris removal, equipment setup, and restoration tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include following MSDS protocols, operating containment systems, and maintaining vehicles and tools. Occasional travel, evening, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify restoration consumables and follow disposal procedures with training.
• Knowledge of water pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a company vehicle per driving policies.
• Strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow team leader and supervisor instructions.
• Operate restoration equipment safely and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform water extraction and mold remediation tasks.
• Assist with containment systems and drying operations.
• Document labor hours, equipment usage, and materials.
• Travel or weekend work as needed.
