Job summary

Volarify in Cuddy, PA is seeking a Basic Water Technician to provide on-site mitigation support. You'll operate pumping and extraction processes, assist with mold remediation, and manage drying equipment under supervision.

Travel may be necessary; you will document labor and equipment usage, follow MSDS protocols, and participate in safety training. The role represents Level 2 in the water damage restoration path and requires strong work ethic and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify products, consumables, and their usage and disposal requirements following training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with company policy.
• A strong sense of urgency, professionalism, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic.
• English language proficiency and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow instructions from the team leader.
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemical products used during mitigation processes.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Maintain attention to detail while performing mitigation tasks.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and moisture meters under supervision.
• Build containment systems and set up drying equipment as needed.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions and debris-removal techniques in confined spaces.
• Document labor hours and equipment usage accurately.
• Attend safety training programs.
