Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician to assist in water damage mitigation, including pumping, extraction, mold remediation, and setting up drying equipment. The role requires operating specialized equipment under supervision and travelling as needed.

You will follow MSDS protocols and ensure safety and customer service standards are met. Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, proper use of containment systems, and installation of Injectidry/Directed-In/Octi-Dry systems, while

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables and usage with training
• Knowledge of various pump systems
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per policy
• Strong sense of urgency and professional demeanor
• English literacy and fluency

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemical products used during mitigation
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR damage procedures
• Under supervision, use extraction equipment and related devices
• Build containment systems with appropriate calculations and equipment
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions and debris removal techniques
• Use lifting techniques and protect client belongings
• Install ventilation and drying systems under supervision
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property
• Maintain customer service excellence and work under time constraints
• Travel and work nights/weekends when required
• Attend security training and BELFOR operations as needed
