Job summary

Volarify is seeking a Water/Mitigation Technician to join its North Texas restoration team. You will respond to water, fire, and mold mitigation jobs at customer properties, set up and monitor drying equipment, and document condition progress on site.

This hands-on role requires physical fitness, the ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts, and a customer‑facing approach during demanding situations. Prior mitigation or IICRC training is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Mitigation experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD) are valuable and a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and mold mitigation calls, including on-call/emergency response.
• Perform moisture detection, water extraction, and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.).
• Perform demolition of affected materials as needed.
• Document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress for accurate reporting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the mitigation process.
