Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater in the Denver area. You will lead multi-discipline teams across municipal projects, mentor staff, and manage budgets, schedules, and client relations to ensure successful project delivery.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements after an initial onboarding period, with the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and advance within a 100% ESOP-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (accredited program) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support EOR requirements.
• Pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and MVR search as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams on municipal projects.
• Mentor engineering staff and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications for projects.
• Oversee and coordinate cross-discipline activities to deliver project deliverables.
