Job summary

Gulfshoresal seeks a support role to assist with implementation of the Water Utility’s conservation program, including residential irrigation checkups and controller settings, and to help enforce water ordinances.

Responsibilities include promoting conservation to the public, auditing irrigation systems, and assisting with project reviews and program integration. Night and weekend shifts may be required; valid Texas driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Two years' irrigation design/installation experience, or a high school diploma.
• Knowledge of water efficiency technologies, safety practices, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the public to promote water conservation.
• Conducts irrigation system audits and recommends controller settings.
• Assists manager with project reviews and integration into programs.
• Uses software to assist in customer service support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
