Job summary

City of El Paso is seeking a dedicated professional to promote water conservation by assessing landscape and irrigation systems, providing recommendations to customers, and delivering educational workshops on water-smart landscapes.

You will plan and perform irrigation audits for commercial customers, locate valves, read diagrams, prepare watering schedules, and develop training sessions in person or virtually for homeowners, landscape professionals, and others to extend the city’s water supply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water-conserving landscape practices and irrigation systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience planning and documenting irrigation audits and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Promote water conservation by assessing landscapes and irrigation systems and providing recommendations to customers.
