Job summary

Gulfshoresal is seeking a non-supervisory Water Utilities Maintenance worker in Texas to perform maintenance and repair of water lines, taps, valves, meters and fire hydrants. The role requires working with pumps, generators, backhoes and other equipment in an outdoor utility setting.

Must have a valid Class C Texas license with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with a tanker endorsement. Position is essential, may require emergency call-outs and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Ability to read simple maps and drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and utility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of water lines and taps, install valves, taps and tie-ons, and maintain water meters and fire hydrants.
• Work in team environment as a non-supervisory role with adherence to essential worker policies.
• Follow safety procedures and policies for utility maintenance.
