Burns & McDonnell's Water Practice in Denver, CO is seeking a Staff Civil / Environmental Engineer to design and deliver water treatment projects for municipal and industrial clients. The role emphasizes process piping, pump stations, hydraulics, and construction administration.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings, specifications, and budgets, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering
• FE/EIT certification preferred
• MSCE may substitute for 1 year experience
• 3 years civil engineering experience, consulting preferred
• Passing FE or EIT preferred
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in CAD and civil analysis software

Responsabilités

• Perform civil design from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for water/wastewater projects.
• Design civil components per project manager requirements.
• Apply knowledge of civil engineering concepts, codes, and procedures.
• Research and compile project data; write specifications.
• Update drawings in CAD-related software.
• Prepare information for client presentations and contract administration.
• Perform field inspections and measurements.
• All other duties as assigned.
