Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead municipal water and wastewater pipeline projects. You will manage design teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure project success from proposal through construction.

The role requires a PE license, 7+ years in civil engineering (Colorado preferred), and hands-on experience with water transmission, distribution, and wastewater systems. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Formación

• ABET-accredited degree in civil/environmental engineering.
• MS in civil engineering is a plus; master's may substitute for experience.
• Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience, Colorado preferred.
• PE license required.
• Experience with water/wastewater design and construction administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead water and sewer pipeline and water storage design from concept to completion.
• Review shop drawings and interface data with clients and suppliers.
• Develop project schedules, scopes, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Produce contract documents and technical specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Manage client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present technical reports to clients and publications.
