Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Designer to join the Water Design team in Columbus, OH, in a hybrid role. The designer will develop engineering drawings and models from general instruction and sketches provided by engineers, with the ability to perform in-design tasks preferred but not required.

The role involves updating drawings for site development and utility layouts, producing floor plans and elevations, and ensuring CAD/BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of CAD/BIM experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2016+ and Revit.
• Strong CAD/BIM standards knowledge and MEP drawings.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Update and create drawings for site development, grading, utility piping layouts, process mechanical plans, and construction details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, section cuts, and schedules in AutoCAD and Revit while maintaining CAD/BIM standards.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with local engineers and remote teams to ensure timely delivery of construction plans and related documents.
