Responsibilities include:
- Designing potable water, wastewater, stormwater, rainwater harvesting, and other water resource systems.
- Performing engineering analyses, calculations, and detailed drawings.
- Developing reports, plans, permit applications, and regulatory documents.
- Developing construction specifications and contracts.
- Conducting site inspections, sampling, and project management.
- Communicating with clients, managing teams, and ensuring quality control.
- Participating in marketing and business development efforts.
- Following safety standards and participating in pre-task planning.
- Performing site investigations and data collection.
- Managing project phases and coordinating with clients and staff.
- Supervising junior staff and contributing to proposals and reports.
- Attending meetings with stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- PA Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Experience:
- Over 5 years in potable water, wastewater, and water resources design and permitting.
- Proficiency in technical writing, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and design software such as SWMM, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD.
- Experience in field reconnaissance, survey data collection, and construction oversight.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in business development.
