Qualifications

• Professional registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and management of water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water treatment and wastewater infrastructure plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for water treatment plants, wastewater collection systems, and related infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and management of water and wastewater engineering projects.
• Proven experience with water treatment processes (e.g., filtration, disinfection) and wastewater treatment technologies (e.g., activated sludge, MBRs).
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM) and CAD software.
• Knowledge of South African water quality standards and environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites in and around Welkom .
