Job summary

Seeds of Peace Camp in central Maine invites energetic counselors to coach sports and lead activities while serving as cabin counselors for a seven-week session on a 120-acre lakeside campus. You'll teach what you love, work with campers aged 8–15, and gain Maine summer experience.

Openings in swim, sail, and waterski/wakeboard; dates June 14 to August 14; salary starting at $3,000 plus travel and room & board.

Qualifications

• Counselors serve as both activity instructor and cabin counselor.
• Experience with youth in camp or recreation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise camper activities across sports and land/water programs.
• Maintain cabin groups and ensure camper safety and wellbeing.

Job description

A residential boys camp on 120 acre lakeside campus in central Maine, Androscoggin is the summer home for 250 campers between 8 and 15 and 100 staff. Our program offers a wide range of sports and individual activities on the land and water. We have one 7 week session, and each counselor serves the dual role of activity instructor and cabin counselor. A great opportunity to teach what you love and experience all that a summer in Maine has to offer.
