Job summary

Swatch Group is seeking a Watchmaker to handle the watch repairing process from servicing the movement to preparing and assembling the case, then encasing the movement for Swatch Group brands. You will report to the Workshop Manager and work with a dynamic team.

The role requires skills across basic mechanical, quartz and chronograph movements, with apprenticeship or WOSTEP-like training, and a customer-focused, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Partial repair requires watchmaking apprenticeship or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair TAFE course.
• Complete repair requires watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results.
• Specialist repair requires knowledge of complicated movements or completion of a post-apprenticeship course such as WOSTEP.

Responsibilities

• Service the movement from servicing to assembling the case and encasing the movement.
• Repair watches across basic mechanical, quartz, and chronograph movements.
• Work in coordination with the Workshop Manager and Swatch Group brands to ensure quality outcomes.
