Job summary

Montrichard (H.K.) LTD is seeking a skilled horology contractor to diagnose and repair mechanical and quartz watches, service movements, regulate and lubricate, replace components, and perform pressure and water resistance tests. The role includes quality control and warranty analysis, plus assist with assembly and final QC.

You will also support the workshop, document processes, train Company staff, inspect inventory, and optimize assembly workflows, integrating into a multinational horology

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and quartz watches
• Perform movement servicing, regulation, lubrication and component replacement
• Conduct pressure and water resistance tests, functional inspection and troubleshooting
• Provide pre-shipment quality control and warranty analysis
• Assist with complete and partial watch assembly including dial, hands, crystals, caseback and strap installation
• Support workshop organization, document processes and train staff
• Inspect inventory and grade components; optimize assembly workflow

Contractor shall provide professional services including, but not limited to:

A. Watch Technical & Repair Services

• Diagnosis and repair of mechanical and quartz watches
• Movement servicing, regulation, lubrication
• Replacement of components
• Pressure testing and water resistance testing
• Functional inspection and troubleshooting
• Warranty return analysis
• Pre-shipment quality control

B. Full and Partial Watch Assembly

Contractor may perform or assist with:

• Complete watch assembly from components
• Movement casing
• Dial installation and alignment
• Hand installation
• Crystal installation
• Caseback installation (press-fit or screw-down)
• Strap installation
• Prototype assembly
• Small-batch or limited edition assembly
• Final quality control and verification

C. Workshop & Operational Support

• Workshop organization and efficiency improvements
• Process documentation
• Technical training of Company staff
• Inventory inspection and component grading
• Assembly workflow optimization

Company may assign additional related technical tasks consistent with horological operations.
