Job summary

SEH is seeking an Entry Level Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on planning, design, and construction of wastewater projects, with opportunities to develop creative solutions and work with a multi-disciplinary team.

Base compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, with full benefits and an employee-owned culture. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations.
• Previous engineering internship; wastewater-specific preferred.
• Strong interest and coursework related to wastewater/water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop creative solutions to wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges.
• Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams to deliver project solutions.
• Build and strengthen client relationships with experienced project managers.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects
• Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations
• Previous engineering internship experience; Wastewater specific highly preferred
• Strong interest and classes related to Wastewater/Water Treatment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects
