Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a major Waste Water Treatment Plant facility.
• Perform sample testing of agents and parameters (dissolved oxygen, pH, chlorine, sludge).
• Record data in logs and data sheets; monitor flow, chemical feeds, sludge levels, alarms.
• Pumps sludge to digesters; dismantles and clears equipment; assists in repairs and installation as needed.
• Work on a rotating day, weekend, and holiday shift; essential duty status during evacuations.
