Job summary
Tradebe Environmental Services in the US is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to protect the environment by ensuring wastewater is treated safely and efficiently. This role suits individuals who are mechanically inclined and enjoy working independently in an industrial setting.
You will operate and monitor treatment systems, collect samples, maintain logs per OSHA requirements, and support safe, compliant operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Grade 4 WWT Certification preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather.
- Forklift experience and pump knowledge are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Transfer wastewater from vehicles to storage tanks.
- Move material between tanks and systems.
- Operate clarifier and filter-press systems.
- Collect and test samples using lab equipment.
- Calibrate and inspect facility instruments.
- Maintain accurate logs following OSHA requirements.
- Comply with all safety and environmental procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
