Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Tennessee driver’s license.
• Pursue Tennessee wastewater treatment operator certification as part of career progression.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment and water reclamation processes in line with procedures and objectives.
• Start/stop/adjust pumps, motors, valves, and chemical-feed systems as needed for operation.
• Monitor process-control parameters and adjust within established procedures.
• Respond to SCADA alarms, equipment failures, power interruptions, and abnormal conditions.
• Perform facility rounds to evaluate equipment condition and performance and report significant issues.
