Job summary

Toho Water Authority seeks an Operator I–III to operate and maintain a wastewater treatment plant in Florida. Responsibilities include daily plant checks, meter readings, SCADA adjustments, sampling, reporting, and supervising contractors.

Progression to Operator IV & V will be evaluated based on qualifications and years of experience; licenses (C/B/A) are required at respective levels, with duties expanding to maintenance and system oversight.

Qualifications

• Must possess Florida Operator C license.
• Experience performing daily plant checks and maintenance.
• Ability to read meters and interpret process data.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant checks and monitor meters and flow readings.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oil changes; grease equipment.
• Manage maintenance work orders and assist trades.
• Record data, samples, and compliance notes.
